The Comeback Coach's Bio

A Missouri native - The Show Me State - I have discovered in a lifetime of learning and leadership via athletics, television, business and relationships that life's a fascinating roller coaster with many dips along the way. In an encouraging, thought-provoking and entertaining way via speaking, writing and consulting, I encourage others - despite the challenges - to play like a champion in the game of life: home, work and elsewhere.

Also, working as a champion for quality small businesses and consumers trying to find them - sometimes like finding a needle in a haystack - is my mission as a consultant for CBS4's Haystack Colorado and other companies that never grow weary of doing good for their customers, employees and communities.

My speaking, writing and consulting - you could call it coaching - is in honor of the great mentors - call 'em coaches - I've had throughout life. I tap into their wisdom and share some of my thoughts in encouraging others to achieve healthy and productive success. I believe the venues change but, usually, the strategies are the same. Simple, not easy.

Finally, drawing on more than two decades as a television personality and speaker, I work on media awareness, presentation skills and messaging with corporate executives, athletes, politicians and other high-profile community leaders.

Some refer to me as the "Comeback Coach." My children, I have a wonderful son and daughter now 20 and 13, call me "weird."
